How to Use QR Code

What does a QR Code Look Like?

Where do I get a QR Code Reader?

A QR Code Reader allows your smartphone or tablet to scan a QR Code.  Once scanned,  you are taken to InfoPost website.

There are many apps for QR Codes found by doing a Google search or go to iTunes.  Most QR Code Readers are 100% free and without trial limits.  Some have messages from the QR Code provider or website you scanned.  Select from a list of BEST QR Code Readers.

How do I scan a QR code?

In “Code Scanner” mode point the camera at a QR code and wait for the camera to automatically scan it.  If you are having difficulties try:

  • Tapping the screen to focus.
  • Moving the device back and forth at different distances from the QR code.
  • Make sure you are in better lighting.
  • Note some codes may be damaged or printed incorrectly so they will not scan.
  • Note some codes may be too small or too large for your smartphone camera to detect.
  • Note iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch, and users of older smartphones – some codes may not scan because of the low quality of your camera.

The QR Code I’m using keeps crashing – how do I fix it?

Try restarting  your smartphone or tablet.   If the app crashes again remove the application and try reinstalling it or download another from BEST QR Code Readers.
